Topic: The Holy Spirit – who he is, and what he does

Who is the Holy Spirit, and why is he with us? What does a human life look like that is filled with and keeps in step with the very Spirit of God? In this series we will explore the Bible’s teaching on the Spirit’s baptism, his filling, his fruit and his gifts. We will look at scripture’s warnings regarding the mistakes we can make in our relationship with him, and how they can be avoided. We will gently explore some of the issues surrounding the Spirit’s work over which Bible-believing Christians sometimes disagree. In everything we will remember Paul’s command to ’make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace’, and together we will experience his tireless work in leading us into the presence and the likeness of the Lord Jesus.
